Getting Here from Dublin Airport

Dublin Express Bus (www.dublinexpress.ie) operates every 30 minutes from Dublin Airport to Tara Street Station.   From there you can get the DART to Sandycove/Glasthule station which is at the top of Islington Avenue (120 m walk).

The Aircoach Express Bus service to/from Dublin Airport picks up/drops off 200 metres from Windsor Lodge at St. Josephs Church in Glasthule.  It leaves the airport 3 hours.  No. 703 stops at St. Joseph Church, Glasthule (walk back 100 meters to Islington Avenue).  www.aircoach.ie​

Getting Around

Dublin Bus has a number of bus stops nearby connecting you to the City Centre and other locations around Dublin.

 

The DART suburban rail service.  From Sandycove/Glasthule DART station you can get to Dublin City in 20 minutes or go the other direction towards Greystone/Bray (Wicklow).

The Leap Card is a pre-paid ticket that allows you unlimited travel for 72 hours ( 3 days ) after first use on :

​

  • Dublin Bus services (not including tours)

  • Luas (tram) services

  • DART and commuter Rail in Dublin city and county

  • Does not cover Aircoach to/from the airport

 

This can be purchased at the Arrivals Hall in Dublin Airport (SPAR shop) or at the Information Desk at Dublin Airport.
